The support FACE has received over many years has enabled us to make a real difference, and we value all donations we receive. We appreciate the support of individuals, families, groups of friends, organisations, clubs, schools who raise money for FACE in such a variety of ways. We always hope that despite raising money for a cancer fund, the fundraising events are a success and enjoyable for all who organise & attend them. We are also aware that in many cases donations are made in memory of a family member or friend that has passed away, and we really appreciate people thinking of helping FACE in those sad times.
We hope that through finding out more about the work we do, you will see how donations (however small or big) can help us continue to make a real difference.
If you would like to donate money to FACE here is information that we hope helps you. If you have any questions get in touch.
The easiest and quickest is to use our JustGiving page:
Cheques can be made payable to FACE and posted to:
c/o Ward 11
Edinburgh Cancer Centre
Western General Hospital
Crewe Road South
Edinburgh, EH4 2XU
When you send a cheque in please include a note about the donation and contact details (including address). It would be ideal if you could include the reason for the donation, how it was raised (if it was an organised fundraising event) and who FACE should thank. We aim to acknowledge all donations in writing, by way of a personal thank you.
We have sample sponsorship forms available to anyone who would like to raise funds for us through holding a sponsored event. Get in touch if you would like these.
We have a small number of collecting tins which are available if you want to put them out and collect donations to FACE. If you want more details get in touch.
If you are holding a fundraising event and would like someone from FACE to be there, then please get in touch and we can discuss details with you. The section on Events holds details of the FACE monthly meetings and this may be the ideal opportunity if you want to meet everyone at FACE and (for instance) pass over a cheque.
