FACE – Sleigh Bells Ring

The FACE Sleigh takes Santa out to meet local communities and has brought so much pleasure to many, young and old.

While it raises funds for FACE, we do our best to support other good causes where we can. In December 2021, the Santa Sleigh was on tour across Edinburgh and East Lothian. We took Santa to join the Saughtonhall Community Association as they switched on their Christmas Tree Lights.

We were down in North Berwick to see all our friends there, help support their fundraising for another beach wheelchair and pick up a new suit for Santa (thank you so much). We popped into Prestonpans to meet the Gala Committee and help them raise money for their gala fund.

We parked outside Maddie & Mark’s Shoe Shop in Bruntsfield, who with the help of Quate & Co, created a wonderful Christmas window display to thank the local community for supporting them through tough times and raise funds for FACE. Unfortunately, we were not able to take Santa to the Western General Hospital on Christmas Day but selection boxes kindly donated to FACE by Social Bite were passed to the Mustard Seed homeless initiative at a local church.

A big thank you to everyone who came out to see the Sleigh and meet Santa, to McNicoll Vehicle Hire for supporting us and to those who made it happen. Magical moments, involving such kindness and generousity, and despite the rain

Check out our Facebook page for great pictures, including the wonderful window display, and more details from the tour.
