Following on from news about our Christmas Fair, we had to make a decision about our annual trip to Lapland based on what we know about the health risks, associated requirements & restrictions we all face in relation to COVID-19.
Guidance on travel restrictions is also changing all the time. It is with a heavy heart we have had to cancel the Lapland Trip this year. We took this decision before preparations for the trip (meetings and conversations with medical professionals, families) normally take place. We had also just started to discuss travel arrangements with Canterbury Travel, who were so supportive when we told them this year’s trip had been cancelled.
It is such a wonderful experience for everyone who heads to the frozen north with FACE. Santa now knows we will unfortunately not be there to see him this year and sends best wishes to everyone.
