Last month a special shower chair was delivered to Ward 75 at the Western General Hospital.
Staff Nurse Cathy Stanton was in touch to let us know the chair had arrived and to pass on many thanks from Ward 75 to all at FACE.
It is already making a difference for the ward and patients they care for, including those receiving treatment for cancer.
‘It will enable us to shower patients with multiple care needs who would otherwise only be able to be washed in bed’.
Brilliant news and an example where FACE can make a positive difference for patients, make the time in hospital more comfortable for them.
